GERRY JOE WEISE #1 Australian Rock Blues Charts ! (Event Over)

Gerry Joe Weise is an Australian bluesman guitarist, vocalist and songwriter. He is a musician who shares the spirit soul of the Blues through jazz, rock and country influences; and has toured worldwide several times, taking him to far off places like Tahiti and Polynesia. He has currently topped the Australian Blues charts at number one for eleven long months.

Gerry Joe Weise is known as a player of great skill and taste, with magnificent guitar tones and melodies. Songs that range from slow spacey ballads, to outrageous rocking tunes, to soaring tortured blues bends. He does what it takes to amaze and hypnotize his audience. Whether he plays standard or slide guitars, he injects undeniable passion into the Blues.

Gerry Joe Weise has notably played with the likes of Eric Clapton, B.B. King, John Lee Hooker, Albert Collins, and Jimi Hendrix' bassist Noel Redding. He has also released five solo albums and plans to release a new CD in 2010. As luck would have it, this is his second tour to Arizona.
